In parallel, aerospace and defense revenue rose 14 percent, driven by advanced interconnects and integrated mission systems; the segment’s backlog now stands at $1.7 billion with a qualified pipeline above $7 billion.

Medical, industrial and instrumentation markets contributed additional momentum, posting 33 percent year-on-year growth. Operational initiatives in pricing, supply-chain streamlining and manufacturing efficiency lifted the operating margin to 10.9 percent. The Penang facility is approaching breakeven, while capacity additions at the Syracuse site are scheduled to support further N+M and Ultra-HDI output through 2028.

To establish a European presence, TTM announced pending acquisitions of Swiss Technology Group and ILFA GmbH. These transactions are expected to add less than 5 percent to sales initially and are excluded from current guidance; management views them as a platform for longer-cycle medical and defense opportunities on the continent.
